£600 per week · 6 weeksFor doctors who currently hold a licence to practise — GMC-registered, or fully licensed by the regulator in the country where you practise now.
£2,400
£400 per week · 6 weeksFor medical students in their clinical years and qualified doctors without a current licence. Licensed doctors may also choose this track.
Trust induction, IT and clinical systems access, introduction to your first supervising consultant and the departmental timetable.
Morning handover, ward and board rounds, clinics, foundation and departmental teaching, and the start of an audit or QI project.
A structured conversation about what you have got so far and what you still want, before you switch across to your second department.
A second department in full, mock interview practice, then your certificate and a reference written by the consultant who supervised you.
Placements run Monday to Friday for six consecutive weeks. Bank holidays extend the placement end date.
